Create an elegant, minimalist kitchen with clever use of colour and space.
Simple but effective was the design mantra for this kitchen. The modern room is open plan and flows into a similarly themed dining and living space; the perfect setting for a busy professional looking to make the most of their downtime.
This kitchen shows that minimalist does not lack practicality or style. Jon and Julie chose dark worktops and borders to complement the neutral, glossy doors of their tall larder units. This practical storage option is completed with clever in cabinet storage that keeps their kitchen essentials hidden out of view. A kitchen island placed in the centre of the room provides ample work surface for prepping food without anyone missing out on the fun. Integrated into one side of the island sits a cleverly designed wine rack – an essential feature for every good host. A solid piece of real oak finishes one end of the island perfectly and creates a clear separation between the kitchen and seating area. Finally, the sink area is framed by the kitchen cabinets to open up the room and create an attractive design feature. The finishing touch to the perfect modern day kitchen.
From the initial design to the completion of the project we cannot fault Neil and his team for their professional manner and high quality workmanship. We chose Milligan and Jessop as Neil's concept for our new kitchen was different to other companies we had considered. He was the only person to give us some new and exciting ideas and gave us the kitchen of our dreams. We would not hesitate to recommend Milligan and Jessop
