Combine sleek and stylish design with lots of storage to for a kitchen that fits with modern family living.
It can be challenging to balance a minimalist design with the demands of modern family life, but this smart kitchen manages to do just that. Tall larder cabinets give lots of essential storage space and allow the room to maintain a light, open feel.
Mark and Tracey chose a neutral colour scheme and modern stainless steel appliances for their modern family kitchen. The clever use of a peninsula with seating defines the separate kitchen and dining areas. The addition of a hob allows the cook to chat with people in the seating area while keeping on top of cooking tasks; creating a sociable, practical space. A pull out larder allows easy access to the back of the cupboards and a hidden waste bin keeps unsightly rubbish out of the way. An open cabinet at one the end of the peninsula provides room for cookbooks - useful for providing much needed inspiration at family mealtimes.
Mark and Tracey required a kitchen that had lots of storage space without feeling too cluttered. Our designer chose to incorporate several tall larder units and a kitchen island, with storage both sides and a breakfast bar, to ensure the Ramsey’s could store their kitchen gadgets while still being able to entertain.
