Create a timeless kitchen with a mix of traditional and modern design features.
People often think that traditional houses require traditional style kitchens. This up-to-date kitchen demonstrates how to use clever design and bring a new kitchen into your classic home.
Peter and Michelle knew exactly what they wanted from their new kitchen - contemporary design that works sympathetically with the original exposed brick wall. The end result is a modern kitchen that utilises the exposed brick to create an on trend industrial kitchen. Dark grey cabinet doors add interest and contrast with the white base units and the unique matte finish shows that gloss is not the only option. Black appliances like the induction hob are used to break up the white expanse of worktop. The bank of larder units provides Peter and Michelle with excellent storage solutions and an area for the head height oven and microwave.
This beautiful and elegant kitchen has been featured in House Beautiful magazine, chosen specifically for its combination of old and new.
‘Peter and Michelle had an original exposed brick wall in their kitchen and wanted to update the space without taking away the traditional element. Our designer chose to feature both white and charcoal matte handle-less doors to contrast eachother. By mixing both modern and traditional styles, a timeless kitchen is achieved for the Stocks’.’
