Painted Kitchen Huddersfield 2

Painted Kitchen in Huddersfield
This quirky open plan kitchen provides a social space for the family to cook, dine and relax.
Family is key for Kate and Richard. Their new kitchen needed to be somewhere for their extended family to gather - all eighteen of them! This creative design offered plenty of storage and multiple options for seating. From casual meals at the breakfast bar to a dining table for formal entertaining the space is flexible and practical. There are even comfy chairs where they can relax with a cup of tea once all the washing up is done. The kitchen door leads out to the garden so they can keep an eye on grandchildren playing outside. Soft green units add elegance and warmth; giving the room a cosy feel and complementing the worktop. Finally, the hob on the peninsula allows the cook to join in with all the fun and still keep on top of the cooking.

Design Tip
‘Kate and Richard wanted a kitchen that was large and spacious, that allowed them to still watch the children playing outside whilst cooking. Our designer gave them a peninsula curve that can be used as a centre stage for the family chefs. Light colours were chosen to give the necessary light and airy atmosphere the Ashley’s wanted.’
